The Eels stunned the Panthers with two tries in the opening 10 minutes and they now lead the 16-14 at halftime with a major upset on the cards.
The opening try came through Blaize Talagi after just 75 seconds before the premiers hit back with the usual suspects Isaah Yeo, Nathan Cleary and Brian To’o linking up.
