In a recent interview with News18, Vikram opened up about why this collaboration has never materialized, shedding light on his unique relationship with Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt. “Her father and I share a relationship that is exclusive and doesn’t involve our families,” Vikram stated. She has her own universe and choices,” Vikram explained. He also mentioned that he has never approached Mahesh Bhatt to facilitate a collaboration with Alia, respecting the boundaries of their professional and personal relationships.
Admiration for the New Generation of Actors
In the same interview, Vikram Bhatt expressed his admiration for the new generation of actors, specifically praising Janhvi Kapoor for her bold and unconventional choices in films. He defended Janhvi against critics who focus on the success or failure of her movies, emphasizing that her determination to lead films on her own terms is commendable. “There are girls I really admire for their grit and choice of roles, like Janhvi. She has chosen not to latch onto some star or become the second heroine to a third hero,” Vikram said. He further highlighted that regardless of her films’ outcomes, Janhvi’s focus on proving her skills sets her apart.

While Vikram Bhatt hasn’t worked with Alia, he has had professional relationships with other members of the Bhatt family. He has collaborated with his nephew Emraan Hashmi on films like Kasoor and Footpath.
