BMO Is Offering up to $500 for Opening a Check Account – MASHAHER

How to qualify for the BMO cash bonus

From now until Sept. 9, 2024, BMO is offering you the opportunity to earn either $350 or $500 when you open one of its checking accounts. What’s great about this is that you have the option to earn a cash bonus regardless of which checking account you choose. Here are your options:

  • Smart Advantage Checking – Earn $350 when you have a total of at least $4,000 in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days
  • Smart Money Checking – Earn $350 when you have a total of at least $4,000 in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days
  • Relationship Checking – Earn $500 when you have a total of at least $7,500 in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days

When you open your account online, a unique promo code will automatically be applied to your application. The bonus will then be deposited to your account 100 days after opening your account if you’ve met all the requirements.

For example, your account must be in good standing and have a balance greater than zero when the bonus is paid. You also only qualify for one of these checking account bonuses and whichever account you open first will be the only eligible one.

Direct deposits include either salary, paycheck, pension, Social Security or government benefits payments. And if you open your account on the final day of the promotion, you must have your application submitted and approved by 9 p.m. CT.
