A Decade and a Half of Giving Back
Reflecting on his career, Aamir Khan expressed his desire to make the most of his remaining active years in the film industry. “I might have 15 more years of active work left,” he said, adding, “I wanted to give back to people whatever I have learned in the past so many years.” The actor revealed that the pandemic-induced lockdown gave him ample time for introspection, leading to this decision.
A Platform for New Talent
Aamir Khan’s vision extends beyond acting. He aims to become a catalyst for new talent in the industry. “I thought that I could do one film a year as an actor, but as a producer, I can produce many more films. Laapataa Ladies is the first step in this direction, with Aamir hoping to produce four to five films annually.
