It was en route to Sao Paulo, Brazil from Cascavel, Brazil, per information obtained using FlightAware, which provides real-time, historical, and predictive flight tracking data. Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was at an event when the flight went down, where he asked the crowd to stand and observe a minute of silence as he said that it appeared that all passengers and crew aboard had died, per the outlet.
