Bulldogs captain Stephen Crichton has accused Dragons five-eighth Kyle Flanagan of biting him during their side’s clash on Saturday night.
The incident went undetected during the game but Crichton made an official complaint at full-time and Fox League dug up the vision.
Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga said there was “no doubt” Flanagan had bitten Crichton, who was bleeding after the incident. .

“That was hard to watch and it’s hard evidence,” Meninga said.
“There’s no doubt that he’s bitten him. And obviously the repercussions of that is Stephen’s nose is bleeding. A pretty hard one to disprove to be honest with you.”
Greg Alexander echoed the duo’s assessment.
“Having just watched the vision, there is no doubt his nose ends up in the mouth of Kyle Flanagan and Kyle decides to shut his teeth around his nose,” he said.
“Because when he pulled it away, the nose – well it almost wobbled didn’t it? That is where the blood has come from. Kyle Flanagan is in a bit of strife, no doubt about it.”
The footage was broadcast and NRL legend Cooper Cronk called it “damning evidence” when asked his initial reaction.
“Woah… Yes, Stephen Crichton’s face is up against Kyle Flanagan’s, but you can actually see the white of Kyle’s mouthguard at some stage here,” Cronk said.

“Look, biting is something that is not allowed, completely not allowed, on the rugby league field.
“We’ve seen other players receive long suspensions when that’s happened, that’s the first I’ve seen of it, but that is damning evidence.
“Stephen Crichton has put that complaint in so he’s obviously going to back that up and the footage there is hard to separate from, so Kyle Flanagan might be in some trouble.
