NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to a boat fire near the James River Bridge Sunday morning.
It happened just before 10 a.m. Crews from the Newport News Fire department and the U.S. Coast Guard also assisted with putting out the fire.
Photos from the scene show heavy flames and dark smoke billowing from the small boat.
