Amitabh Bachchan commented, “A day tomorrow of remembrance to the most beautiful Mother of all time… Aug 12 ..her strength, her warmth, her sense of etiquette and aesthetics… but most importantly her faith and love of all things bright and beautiful for us all… There is no need to say anymore…”
Amitabh’s birthday celebrates the birth anniversary of his late mother, Teji Harivash Rai Srivastava Bachchan. She was born on August 12, 1914, and died on December 21, 2007. Teji Bachchan was a social activist who also taught psychology in pre-Independence Lahore. She had two sons with Harivansh Rai Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan and Ajitabh Bachchan.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has begun shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor recently turned to his X account to reveal the first shot from the quiz show’s sets. Big B was seen spreading his arms in the black and white photo, as if to welcome the viewers to the new season of his show. “T 5082 – BACK TO KBC 16TH SEASON,” he wrote.
KBC 16 was announced in April this year, when the show’s producers released a promo and stated that registrations were open. However, the actual launch date for KBC 16 is unknown as of now.
Amitabh Bachchan has also received appreciation for Kalki 2898 AD. His performance as Ashwatthama in Nag Ashwin’s directorial film has gained widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. Fans cannot wait to see him in the film’s sequel, which is now in production.
