BREWTON, Ala. (WKRG) — Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama are looking for two escaped inmates. According to a Facebook post, Cameron Garner and Joseph Loper escaped from the Escambia County detention center around 8 Monday night.
The post says “they both should be wearing white clothing consistent with thermal underwear, white t-shirts, and are both barefoot.” It doesn’t say how the two men were able to escape or what direction they may be heading. Several people around Escambia County told News 5 they got a voicemail from an automated voice Monday night alerting them to the escapees.
Garner was previous incarcerated on charges of 3rd degree burglary and attempt to elude. Loper was previously booked on a failure to appear in court.
