The meta video takes a dig at Ananya’s character of Bae wherein it features a beaming Ananya as she discusses her character with Karan along with taking a few digs about herself uninhibitedly as she gears up for a literal ‘launch’ to the OTT ‘space’ in a rocket. In the video, excited about not playing the bougie princess that she always is, Ananya explains how she is looking forward to Bae’s ‘regular person struggle’ – since it will showcase the downfall of a South Delhi heiress, as she hustles and bustles, getting her hands dirty in the city of dreams – Mumbai! Karan shared this video as he asks the audience to welcome Bae.

Call Me Bae is a Dharmatic Entertainment production, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra as executive producers. The series is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, and directed by Collin D’Cunha.
