Meteorologists are watching Tropical Storm Ernesto as it seemingly strengthens in the Caribbean. As of 5 a.m. Wednesday, Ernesto is still a tropical storm.
According to AccuWeather, Ernesto could follow a north to northeasterly track over the Atlantic Ocean.

Biden declares emergency in Puerto Rico
On Tuesday, President Joe Biden declared an emergency in Puerto Rico and authorized the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate and assist local efforts in response to any storm impacts.
As of 5 a.m. Wednesday, Ernesto was positioned northwest above the island over the Atlantic, with a maximum wind speed of 70 miles per hour.
