One person was taken into custody Thursday night after an hours-long SWAT operation in central Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, SWAT responded at 3:45 p.m. to a house in the 1500 block of 46th Street, which prompted police to ask the public to avoid the area for much of the evening.
LPD confirmed that one person had been taken into custody around 10:15 p.m. No other details about the event or the circumstances surrounding the callout were released by late Thursday.
