MLB’s annual Players’ Weekend will take place this Friday through Sunday, and the Mets — along with the other 29 teams — will have special hats for the occasion.
Unlike some prior seasons, when teams wore special jerseys and had player nicknames on the back, this year’s Players’ Weekend will feature special hats only.
Those hats will have the players’ numbers on the side, in different styles.
