Jeff McNeil continues to swing a hot bat since July 12. Following Friday night’s home run, he now has seven homers in 26 games since the All-Star break, including a 1.031 OPS after hitting just five home runs and a .591 OPS in the first half.

Luis Severino has struggled lately, allowing at least four earned runs in each of his last three starts. But in three starts this season against the Marlins, Severino has a 2.89 ERA, allowing just two hits over six shutout innings the last time he faced them on July 20.

Francisco Lindor enters Saturday on a 10-game hitting streak, batting .356 with seven runs, three doubles, a triple, home run and six RBI over that span. He also is on a15-game on-base streak.

Brandon Nimmo is back in the 3-hole after homering on Friday night to break an 0-for-17 slump. Nimmo has hit 13 of his 17 home runs this season against right-handed pitchers.
