Marking the return of the Maddock Supernatural Franchise is the film Stree 2 which released in theatres on August 15. The film has opened to a massive response with it crossing the records of its predecessor which in itself was a blockbuster. While leading lady aka Stree of the film Shraddha Kapoor was seen celebrating the same along with co-star Rajkummar Rao, now Aparshakti Khurana is currently basking in the significant success of this film.

For the unversed, the horror comedy has already entered Rs. 100 crore club within a span of two days, and Aparshakti took to his social media handle to drop an adorable video, which shows him celebrating the film’s success with his wife and “favourite stree” aka his daughter in London. “Celebrating Stree weekend with my favourite stree in London ??,” he captioned his post.
For the unversed, Aparshakti Khurana reprised his role of Bittu in Stree 2, which also marked the return of Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee in their beloved characters of Rudra Bhaiyya and Janaa. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film takes off some time after the ghost hauntings stop in Chanderi Town only for the villagers to realize that they now have a new terror attack to deal with – that of Sarkhata, a beheaded ghost who is kidnapping women.
Apart from Stree 2, Aparshakti Khurana also has other interesting projects lined up which includes Badtameez Gill, starring Vaani Kapoor and an ensemble supporting cast that is slated to release on November 29. Apart from that, the actor also has Berlin and a documentary titled ‘Finding Ram’ in the pipeline.
