A heartwarming video of a baby falling asleep during a crawling competition in Thailand has taken social media by storm. The video showcases the delightful antics of several infants as they make their way – or sometimes pause – toward the finish line.
The clip, shared by an account – ‘Mr_Whathapened’ – on X, has clocked over six lakh views so far.
The short clip opens with several adorable babies eagerly beginning their journey towards the finish line. However, in a humorous twist, some of the little participants decide to take breaks along the way, much to the amusement of the viewers.
The video captures one baby in particular who, rather than crawling to victory, decided to take a nap mid-competition.
As the competition progresses, the parents can be seen at the finish line, energetically waving and calling out their babies, urging them to continue.
“Do we have a winner yet? I’ll check after I wake up,” the caption of the post reads, adding to the charm of the moment.

A second clip, again shared by the same user, offered another angle to the competition. In it, the four babies appear perfectly content to remain at the starting line while their parents, full of enthusiasm, encourage them from the other end.
The scene had some parents laughing so hard they were brought to tears.
The excitement reaches a peak when the sleeping baby suddenly wakes up, causing a ripple of anticipation among the audience. However, in another move, the baby briefly assumes a crawling position before sitting back down, amusing the crowd with a classic ‘pump fake.’
