Firefighters rescued several dogs from a burning building in Washington, DC, on Friday, August 16, and provided medical treatment to a few of them, video shows.
Footage released by the DC Fire and EMS Department shows a firefighter administering aid to a dog after it was rescued. Eight dogs were rescued, and one dog was transported to the animal hospital, the department said.
The dog that was transported to the hospital was “lifeless when removed by firefighters,” but was revived by “CPR, oxygen, and tender loving care,” the department said. Credit: DC Fire and EMS Department via Storyful
