The teaser of Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film, ‘Chhaava’ is now out. The actor plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the Laxman Utekar film and, as the teaser claims, the audience does witness him in a never-seen-before avatar.
The teaser introduces Vicky Kaushal as the fierce and unstoppable Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the short video, Vicky Kaushal unleashes his fury and single-handedly attacks an army. However, that’s not all. By the end of the teaser, we get a glimpse of Akshaye Khanna, who looks completely unrecognisable.

The teaser of the film was released with ‘Stree 2’ and those who have watched the Amar Kaushik-helmed horror comedy in theatres have already had the chance to watch it on the big screen. Several people have already been praising Vicky Kaushal’s new avatar in the film.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the shooting for the film commenced in October 2023. Positioned as a historical drama, the film features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, his wife.
The film is set to release in theatres on December 6, 2024.
