Meanwhile, the actress, who is presently on holiday in the United Kingdom, has shown an interest in seeking employment in the European country.
Parineeti Chopra expresses interest in working in the UK, seeks new opportunities beyond Bollywood
During a recent interview with Eastern Eye, Parineeti Chopra was asked if, given her versatility, she had ever contemplated working in the West outside of Indian cinema. The actress was ecstatic by the statement and quickly revealed that she is open to new job prospects.
She said, “Oh, thank you so much. Why not? Actually, I really want to work in the UK and look for opportunities. This is something I would be very interested in, maybe not so west as in Hollywood. Something creative in the UK itself.”
In addition, Pari revealed her ambitions to go forward. She admits to being in the stage of her career where she values quality over quantity. According to her, even if excellence means making only one more film, it is fine because a project must stimulate her from within, as Amar Singh Chamkila did.
She went on to say that she had played Chamkila two years earlier, but it didn’t matter because she was thrilled to portray the character again. The actress mentioned that her “biggest learning” is to choose roles that truly excite her, require preparation, and have the potential to touch people’s hearts. “It’s now the experience I’m searching for,” she said.
Parineeti had spent her holiday in London, United Kingdom. She has frequently revealed snippets of her enjoyable stays in the British city.
On the work front, Pari was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, alongside Diljit Dosanjh. The biographical drama is based on the life of the renowned Punjabi musician, known for his record-breaking songs. The film was released on Netflix earlier this year and has received considerable acclaim from both audiences and critics.
The actress has not announced any new projects yet.
