An array of creative and captivating floats representing the diversity of the Broome community were displayed over the weekend as they made their way through the streets of Chinatown for the Roebuck Bay Hotel Shinju Matsuri Float Parade.
After waking from his slumber the previous day, Sammy the Dragon ran through the streets of Chinatown from Male Oval, guiding the floats created by local community groups, schools and businesses followed closely behind by percussion and brass bands.
