COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead after a head-on, wrong-way crash in east Columbus early Monday morning.
According to Columbus police, a red sedan was traveling in the wrong direction on East Livingston Avenue near the intersection of South Hamilton Road and the sedan may not have had its headlights on. At the same time a blue sedan was traveling in the opposite direction in its respective lane when the blue sedan crashed into it head-on.

The driver of the blue sedan, an adult female, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:38 a.m. The driver of the red sedan was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while a third person was also hospitalized in critical condition.
One other victim from the crash is in stable condition as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation. East Livingston Avenue was closed for approximately six hours before opening at around 9:40 a.m.
