Bollywood heartthrob Siddhant Chaturvedi is all set to captivate audiences with his intense action avatar in the upcoming film, Yudhra. Known for his versatile performances, the actor has undergone a rigorous training regime to prepare for this challenging action role.

In a recent interview, celebrity fitness coach Rohit Nair revealed details about Siddhant’s preparation, saying “I didn’t work on the action in Yudhra but I trained Siddhant because he wanted to be better at action as he had a lot of action requirements in the film. He did regular MMA and jiu-jitsu with me before he went for the action scenes. Everything wasn’t shot in Mumbai and I couldn’t travel with him, but he trained with me for MMA, kickboxing and jiu-jitsu while he was here.”
While audiences continue to love the characters portrayed by Siddhant, especially MC Sher in Gully Boy, this will be a one-of-a-kind solely action driven film for the actor. We hear that the actor has even gone to the extent of pushing his boundaries, promising to deliver a top-notch performance in Yudhra. The actor’s fans too have been eagerly anticipating his foray into this genre and are excited to witness his transformation on the big screen.
In an earlier interview with Filmfare, Siddhant had opened up about his character in the film wherein he had opened up about the reason behind signing it. “One common advice would be – you should do something like action, because of I think the first impression as MC Sher, that was like you should do something really tough that is a thing, constant thing which I think I keep getting. Let’s see now, there’s an action film coming out so I did act upon that. I didn’t want to be typecast at the start of my career, so I took some time to explore different kind of genres. Even though everybody is like ‘do these [MC Sher] type of roles that are alpha-like. It is a big one now which is coming next, so working on that for the last 5 years.”
Also starring Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady, Yudhra is directed by Ravi Udyawar and is produced by Excel Entertainment.
