iQOO Neo 10, Neo 10 Pro 5G chipset, design and battery details leaked – MASHAHER

iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G smartphone earlier this year, and we found it almost surprising how good the smartphone is. “It offers snappy performance, a decent camera, good battery life, a super responsive display, and for gamers, it’s a delight,” we wrote in our review. Now, iQOO is apparently working on the successor of the Neo 9 Pro, the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro 5G. Even though there is nothing official about the launch yet, there are a bunch of leaks about the smartphone that reveal the chipset, design and battery details.

As per a leak that was spotted on the Chinese social media website, Weibo, the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The report also suggests that the smartphones could also use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Reportedly, the iQOO Neo 10 will use the Snapdragon chipset, whereas the Pro variant will use the MediaTek chipset. The Dimensity 9400 is yet to be revealed but is expected to be launched in October this year.

Interestingly, the report also suggests that the next iQOO phone will run on the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The name of the smartphone has not been revealed, but it is likely that iQOO will use that chipset on a flagship phone and the upcoming from iQOO will most probably be the iQOO 13.

The iQOO Neo 10 series is also believed to feature a metal middle frame. This would be an upgrade from the iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G design that uses a plastic frame. The leak also suggests that the smartphones will have more than 6,000mAh battery and will support 100W fast charging. Reportedly, the iQOO Neo 10 series will continue using a flat display.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G was launched in February this year. The iQOO Neo 10 series can also be expected around the same time next year. Notably, this is all based on leaks and iQOO is yet to confirm the details. But a quick recap of the specifications and features of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G does give us a sense of what kind of upgrades we can expect from its successor.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G was launched in India with a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, boasting a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth performance. Unique to this device is the ‘Wet Hand Touch’ feature, allowing screen use even with wet hands.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, it comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Adreno 740 GPU enhances gaming, supported by a 6043 mm² vapour chamber — the largest in iQOO’s history — for efficient cooling during extended sessions.

The device also includes ‘Extended RAM’ technology, effectively doubling RAM capacity, transforming 8GB into 16GB or 12GB into 24GB.

On the photography front, the phone is equipped with a dual-camera system, featuring a 50MP IMX 920 night vision sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It houses a robust 5,160mAh battery that supports rapid 120W fast charging.

Adding to its durability, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro 5G holds an IP54 certification, providing protection against dust and water splashes, and supports Wi-Fi 7 for seamless connectivity.
