EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A subject was taken into custody on Thursday, Aug. 22, after an injured woman arrived at a neighbor’s door in far East El Paso.
El Paso Police say they responded just after 6 a.m. to a welfare check Thursday on the 3300 block of Tierra Mision.
Once police arrived, they located a woman in her upper 30s who was seriously injured and was transported to a local hospital.
A spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department also says that officials were called out at 6:18 a.m. to reports of an injured woman arriving at a neighbor’s door.
Police activity was seen in the area Thursday morning.
No further information has been released.
