The Washington Commanders are reportedly trading wide receiver Jahan Dotson to the Philadelphia Eagles for a trio of draft picks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
In exchange for Dotson, the Commanders will receive a third-round pick and two seventh-round picks in the 2025 draft.
Dotson now becomes another offensive weapon for Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts. He’ll join running back Saquon Barkley, tight end Dallas Goedert, as well as fellow wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
The Eagles had been seeking stability at the No. 3 receiver spot and have see Britain Covey, Parris Campbell and rookie Johnny Wilson working with the first team during training camp/
Dotson, a 2022 first-round draft pick, caught 49 passes for 518 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Commanders. The 24-year-old is entering his third year in the NFL and has a total of 84 receptions, 1,041 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
As the 24-year-old Dotson heads to Philadelphia, the Eagles will send the Commanders a 2025 third-round pick and two seventh-round picks.
