ABC managing director David Anderson is leaving the public broadcaster.
The move comes only months after new chair Kim Williams took up his post, since making a series of constructively critical remarks about the organisation.
Anderson was appointed to a second term last year by Williams’ predecessor Ita Buttrose, more than one year out from his renewal.
