Good neighbors were on high alert in a North Vancouver neighborhood recently, when they spotted a bear coming towards a man who was mowing his lawn, unaware of the nearby presence.
Ezra Mandel told Storyful that he was wearing noise canceling earbuds while cutting the grass, and did not hear his neighbor warning him about the bear. Thankfully, he said, another neighbor then “shouted louder until I could hear him”.
