‘Sleepy Joe, Kamala busy campaigning’: Trump warns of World War III as he slams Biden’s Middle East strategy – MASHAHER

Former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump attacked the Biden administration’s response to the escalating Middle East conflict, asserting that President Joe Biden is “sleeping on a beach in California” while Vice President Kamala Harris is occupied with a campaign tour amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a post on X, Trump questioned the effectiveness of US diplomacy, highlighting what he perceived as a lack of engagement from President Joe Biden.
“Who is negotiating for us in the Middle East? Bombs are dropping all over the place! Sleepy Joe is sleeping on a beach in California, viciously Exiled by the Democrats, and Comrade Kamala is doing a campaign bus tour with Tampon Tim, her really bad VP Pick. Let’s not have World War III, because that’s where we’re heading!” Trump said.

Trump’s remarks come as the Middle East region faces severe tensions following a series of military actions involving Israel and Hezbollah.
Over the past few days, Israeli forces have conducted extensive airstrikes targeting what they describe as Hezbollah rocket launchers and military infrastructure in Lebanon. This action was reportedly in response to an alleged imminent threat from Hezbollah, which Israel claims was preparing to launch missiles into Israeli territory.
Hezbollah, however, has strongly denied these allegations, labeling them as baseless. The group has since retaliated with its own strikes, which it has described as a “first phase” of its response to Israeli actions.
Israel has declared a 48-hour emergency in response to the ongoing violence as tensions continue to escalate. The IDF has launched a series of airstrikes aimed at Hezbollah positions, and has warned Lebanese civilians in southern Lebanon of potential retaliation.
Earlier too, Trump expressed his discontent with Vice President Kamala Harris, criticising her response to the conflict.
In her recent speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), Harris affirmed her commitment to Israel’s right to defend itself and condemned the actions of Hamas, the militant group in Gaza. Harris highlighted the need for Israel to have the ability to defend itself, while also acknowledging the widespread suffering of Palestinians.
Trump, however, took to his Truth Social account to express his disapproval, suggesting that Harris’s policies could lead the US into a broader and more dangerous conflict.
