SHIPROCK, N.M. (KRQE) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the death of a woman on Highway 491 near Shiprock.
Officials said Tiffany Deanna Benallie was hit by a vehicle near mile marker 95 at approximately 1 a.m. on May 18, 2024. The driver of the vehicle left the scene.
The FBI’s Albuquerque Field Office and Navajo Nation Department of Criminal Investigations in New Mexico are asking anyone with information about the crime to come forward. Information can be shared through the FBI’s toll-free tipline at 1- 800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
