HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Zoo is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibit, “Birds of the World” on Friday, August 30. If you’re new to Houston, don’t miss out on these new exhibits at the Zoo. This exhibit features three large aviaries that highlight birds from three different regions: the African Savanna, the North American Woodlands, and the South American Wetlands. Visitors will be able to see various birds, including majestic grey crowned cranes, vultures, hamerkops, and the Chilean flamingos.
