In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao shared his admiration for his co-star Pankaj Tripathi and discussed the valuable lessons he learned from working alongside him.

Rajkummar Rao on Learning from Pankaj Tripathi
In the conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao highlighted Pankaj Tripathi’s remarkable ability to deliver complex lines with ease and humor. “There is a lot of ease in him as an actor,” Rao remarked. He went on to explain that Tripathi has a unique talent for making heavy lines appear effortlessly natural and funny. “He can throw away really heavy lines in a very nonchalant way and it will still come across as very funny. And I truly admire that about him, that is what I have learned from him,” Rao added.
In the same interview, Rajkummar also candidly spoke about sharing a brotherly bond with his co-stars Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, and director Amar Kaushik.
As the conversation progressed further, Rajkummar also spoke about facing struggles in the initial years. He said, “No complaints, I was ready for that because I knew that I didn’t know anyone in the city. That’s how it’s going to be. Nobody was here, waiting for me with open arms we are waiting for you to come and meet us whenever you want. I had to find my own way. I was ready for the journey. Of course, there were lots of difficulties. There were days when it was tough to even arrange for the next meal, but I was mentally prepared.”
