Gaumant Vice CEO Christophe Riandee Exits Company – MASHAHER

Gaumont’s vice CEO Christophe Riandee has exited the company, it was confirmed today.

In a short statement, the “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” producer said: “After more than 20 years within the company, Christophe Riandee is leaving his position as Vice CEO, effective today, to devote himself to his personal projects. We wish him all the best for the future.”

Variety understands Riandee will not be replaced in the short term. CEO Sidonie Dumas will take charge of all ongoing projects that Riandee previously was overseeing.

“The staff who previously reported to Christophe Riandee will now report to Sidonie Dumas,” a spokesperson confirms.

Riandee has been with the French film and TV producer since 2003, after a diverse career working in accountancy, animation and telecoms. He went on to oversee Gaumont’s television arm, ascending to the position of Vice CEO last year, shepherding projects including “Lupin,” “Barbarians” and “Narcos: Mexico.”

Founded in 1895, Paris-headquartered Gaumont is the oldest film company in the world. Nicolas Seydoux remains as chair.
