North Queensland Cowboys vs Melbourne Storm, Round 26 updates, stats, start time, Storm resting players, teams, latest news – MASHAHER

With the minor premiership already sewn up, the Melbourne Storm have rested 11 of their stars for their trip to face the Cowboys in Round 26.

Craig Bellamy’s side will be missing a fair few familiar faces for their visit to Townsville after the Storm coach made the bold decision to rest some of his key men ahead of the final, including Dally M favourite Jahrome Hughes.

Cameron Munster and Ryan Papenhuyzen remain in the side, with the latter captaining the Storm, who have named three NRL debutants this weekend as well as outside back Grant Anderson at halfback.

It makes the task slightly easier than it might’ve otherwise been for the Cowboys, who face the Storm for the first time since Round 14 last year.

Todd Payten’s side have sewn up their place in the finals this year but could go a long way to elevating themselves into fifth place at season’s end with a win over Melbourne tonight.
