Sidharth Malhotra marked National Sports Day today, August 29, 2024, by sharing a flashback photo with his Kapoor & Sons co-star Fawad Khan, along with a video of them playing cricket together. Fans have responded to Sidharth’s post by expressing their interest in seeing him in the recently announced biopic of cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

Sidharth Malhotra took to Instagram to share his love of cricket and sports in general with his followers. He shared a few photos of himself playing cricket in the highlands during a film production. Sidharth also shared a humorous video in which he competed against Fawad Khan in the game. He even said that his squad was always better, which made Fawad giggle.
In the caption, Sidharth wrote, “From Delhi streets to film sets, my love for cricket remains unchanged! Sports were always a big part of my life – basketball, club level rugby, football, and of course, gully cricket.”

Earlier this month, Yuvraj Singh’s biopic was officially unveiled. Bhushan Kumar and Ravi Bhagchandka will co-produce the project under their respective labels T-Series and 200 Not Out Cinema.
Meanwhile, Pinkvilla has exclusively reported that Sidharth Malhotra is in early talks to star in Race 4. Producer Ramesh Taurani intends to revive the franchise, with Saif Ali Khan poised to return. According to a source, the Race franchise will be rebooted with a face-off between Saif and Sid, staying faithful to the franchise’s setting. It’s a straightforward two-hero film, with both characters possessing shades of grey.”
