University of San Diego named ‘Most Beautiful Campus’ by The Princeton Review – MASHAHER

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The University of San Diego has been named the most beautiful campus in the U.S. by The Princeton Review.

In its list of the top 25 most beautiful campuses in the nation, the education services company ranked USD in the No. 1 spot, followed by University of Richmond in Virginia. It also made the top spot on the list in 2022.

According to the company, the rankings are entirely based on survey results collected from 168,000 students who attend the schools mentioned in the Princeton’s book, “The Best 390 Colleges,” which was published this month.

The survey asked the students 89 questions about their school’s academics/administration, life at their college, their fellow students and themselves. Each college was then given a score based on the students’ answers to each question.

According to the survey results, USD students shared that the “weather is so perfect and the campus so beautiful [that] most students spend time outside.” The campus was also praised for its location near the beach and city.

Additionally, because of the “sunny, more relaxed environment,” students described that they enjoyed being able to balance “casual” with “stylish” attire.

Last year, USD came in second on the list of most beautiful campuses after University of Richmond.
