Indian singer Jonita Gandhi is buzzing with excitement as she gears up to open for one of her favorite artists, Dua Lipa, at the pop star’s Mumbai concert on November 30. Known for her chart-topping hits like ‘Gilehriyaan’ from Dangal (2016) and the recent sensation ‘What Jhumka?’ from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), Gandhi is eager to bring her own music to the stage before Lipa’s highly anticipated performance.

“I love her music,” Jonita shared, expressing her admiration for the British pop sensation. “The Dua Lipa song that had the most impact on me was ‘New Rules‘ (2017); it was the first one I ever heard.”

While she hasn’t finalized her setlist yet, Jonita is determined to make the most of this opportunity. “I’m definitely going to perform as many of my songs as I can. I have so much in store,” she revealed, hinting at an exciting lineup for her fans.

While there are no films on the horizon at the moment, Jonita remains open to exploring acting opportunities in the future. “This is an exciting phase in my singing career,” she concluded.
