BENTON, Ark. – After months of developments, central Arkansas is now officially going to be home to a Buc-ee’s.
In a video played before kickoff at the 2024 Salt Bowl, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that a Buc-ee’s will be coming to Benton.
“Buc-ee’s is coming to Arkansas and Saline County, right in the heart of our state, will be its home,” Sanders said.

Benton officials also confirmed that the Buc-ee’s is officially coming to
“Yes folks it’s official and we are the proud recipients of Bucees,” the city said on Facebook. “We are so proud and honored that they picked us!! We can’t wait for construction to begin.”
The official announcement comes after months of updates as the city and the company finalized a deal for a center to come to the Natural State.
Officials said the planned Benton Buc-ee’s Travel Center is set to tie for their largest location ever built with a 75,000 square feet store, over 100 pumps and 225 jobs.
This will be the first Buc-ee’s in Arkansas. The closest Buc-ee’s is in Springfield, Missouri.

Buc-ee’s was founded in Texas and continues to expand across the South. All centers include 80 to 100 gas pumps and a broad shopping area with popular food offerings.
