Broncos and Dolphins veterans Adam Reynolds and Felise Kaufusi have shared fiery words after a shock sin binning stunned the Suncorp Stadium crowd.
In the 17th minute, Reynolds went down after dropping the ball in what seemed initially to be a standard collision between players.
However, with Reynolds going down with a potential shoulder injury, the Bunker reviewed the contact before the Dolphins’ enforcer was sent to the sin bin.

Smiling Hammer slices through Broncos | 01:26
The decision stunned Fox League’s commentators, with referee Adam Gee claiming there was “direct contact to the head, no mitigation”.
“I think it was chest on shoulder… in real time, you don’t pull out of it. You don’t stop, to defend your line you don’t pull out of that,” Greg Alexander said.
“Come on… really?”
Meanwhile, commentator Dan Ginnane added: “They say they saw contact with the head, some will wonder if the name is a factor and the reputation”.
With Kaufusi leaving the field, Reynolds following after being sent for a head knock assessment and the pair traded barbs in fiery scenes.
“Hello, words. Reynolds and Kaufusi look at this. Adam Reynolds continues to have his say,” Ginnane said.
Brendan Piakura then dropped the ball in the proceeding plays, which Alexander labelled “poetic justice”.
