Parramatta Eels vs St George Illawarra Dragons, live updates, score, stats, video, top eight, finals – MASHAHER

The Dragons are in the box seat to lock in the final spot in the top eight — but need to win when they take on the Eels on Saturday to keep those hopes alive and well.

Sitting eighth on 28 points — two points ahead of the Broncos, Dolphins, Knights and Raiders — the Dragons are almost home but can’t afford to get complacent against the last-placed Eels.

The Eels are desperate to avoid the wooden spoon so still have plenty to fight for in the final fortnight of the season.

Following a disappointing loss to the Sharks last week, Dragons coach Shane Flanagan has made some key changes to his side by dropping Blake Lawrie and recalling Raymond Faitala-Mariner on the bench.

In a big blow, Christian Tuipulotu has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury and is replaced my Mikaele Ravalawa.

Interim Eels coach Trent Barrett has made changes too with Jake Tago replacing Sean Russell on the wing, while Luca Moretti returns from injury on the bench.
