A couple of showers Sunday evening – MASHAHER

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Partly cloudy and muggy tonight with temperatures bottoming out in the mid-70s. We will see another day tomorrow with sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s with the heat index near 100.

Sunday night around 6 p.m. a couple of showers and storms will migrate into the Pee Dee we will watch for any impacts to the Cook Out Southern 500 in Darlington. The beach will be dry overnight into Monday.

Throughout Monday, a cold front will be moving into the area. This will present widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Still a warm and humid day with temperatures on Labor Day in the mid to upper-80s.

The front will move through and then stall to our south through midweek. This will keep rain chances in the forecast but overall it will only be a couple of isolated showers. Temperatures will cool to the low-80s throughout midweek until Friday.
