POTTERVILLE, Mich. (WLNS) — While in Potterville Thursday, former President Donald J. Trump claimed as his motorcade arrived in the small town, the streets were filled with “thousands and thousands of people outside — as far as the eye could see — as we were driving up.”
Here’s his full statement:
“But this is the greatest — MAGA — Make America Great Again, the greatest movement in the history of our country. You know, outside, they won’t ever report that — they never report it. Outside you have thousands and thousands of people they couldn’t get in. They don’t get seats like you guys. They didn’t get the seats that you got, believe me. But you have thousands and thousands of people outside — as far as the eye could see — as we were driving up.”
Potterville had a population of 3,055 people in 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau reports.
