Neetu Kapoor got emotional on Rishi Kapoor’s 72nd birthday today and she reflected on the time she spent with her late husband. She took to social media to write a loving post in his honour.

Neetu shared a post on Instagram in his remembrance. She posted a flashback photo from what appears to be his birthday celebration. Rishi is seen in the shot blowing out candles on a cake. He’s seen dressed in elegant black clothing.
Sharing the image, Neetu wrote, “In remembrance (accompanied by a red-heart emoji) would have been 72 today”. She added a flower emoji in the end.
Her post elicited a strong emotional response in the comments section, with actors such as Abhishek Bachchan and Sonali Bendre sending heart emojis in support. Soni Razdan, an actor, wrote, “Happy Birthday. “We miss you.”
Earlier in the day, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima shared an old photo from her father’s birthday on Instagram Stories. Riddhima captioned the photo, “Happy birthday Papa (red heart emoji). How I wish you were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters. Your ‘bandari’ Sam is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest – she is a mini You. Papa I will always cherish the memories we got to share. We miss you so much, and our love for you only deepens with every passing day (red heart emoji).”
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor have two children, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor died in 2020 at the age of 67 after a lengthy fight with cancer. Ranbir married Alia Bhatt in April 2022. In November 2022, they welcomed their daughter Raha.
