Buffalo Diocese priest accused of misconduct with women placed on administrative leave – MASHAHER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A priest has been placed on administrative leave by Buffalo Bishop Michael Fisher pending an investigation into allegations of adult misconduct with women, the Diocese of Buffalo announced Thursday.

Rev. Walter Grabowski has been temporarily relieved of his duties due to the investigation. The diocese said that Grabowski being placed on leave “does not imply any determination as to the truth or falsity of the complaint.”

Grabowski shared pastoral duties with a family of parishes that includes Fourteen Holy Helpers, Queen of Heaven, St. John XXIII, St. Gabriel and St. John Vianney.

If you have information regarding adult misconduct by a Buffalo Diocese priest, you can contact the diocese’s victim assistance coordinator at (716) 895-3010.
