The culinary challenge commenced with the laughter chefs engaging in a heated competition to create eight impeccable pieces of ‘aalu vadi’, each showcasing rich flavor and presentation. To elevate the challenge, they were also required to make a spicy ‘thecha’ using a traditional ‘silbatta’, with just 17 ingredients from the market to achieve the perfect balance of heat, taste, and visual appeal.
Amid the bustling kitchen scene, Her presence electrified the atmosphere, especially when she and Ankita Lokhande recreated their iconic dance to ‘Dankila’, adding an extra spark to the festivities. The excitement soared further when Krushna Abhishek humorously pitched his political ambitions, seeking Kangana’s endorsement for a potential political career in Himachal Pradesh.
In the second round of the culinary competition, the challenge became more intense with the preparation of the classic Maharashtrian sweet, ‘ukdiche modak’. The chefs were tasked with making five flawless modaks, each requiring 12 perfect pleats and a generous drizzle of ghee. As the contestants worked on their creations, Kangana interacted with them, tasting their sweet fillings and giving her approval, which heightened the thrill of the challenge.
The festive mood reached new heights as Kangana joined the laughter chefs in dancing to ‘London Thumakda’, bringing her infectious energy to the kitchen. With the Maharashtrian feast in full swing, the question remains: who will score the highest with their culinary skills and who will come out on top in the quest to prepare the best festive dishes?
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency is encountering problems ahead of its release. Originally slated for a September 6 premiere, the film’s release has been delayed due to the lack of certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). On Wednesday, Kangana took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to claim that the CBFC’s decision to withhold the certification is ‘illegal.’
Kangana Ranaut also responded to the Bombay High Court’s ruling regarding the delay in her film Emergency’s clearance by the CBFC. She shared a post by Live Law and wrote, “High court has blasted censor for illegally withholding the certificate of #emergency.”
