KOTA KINABALU: Firemen are on a search and rescue mission for a Kazakhstan tourist who is feared to have drowned while swimming at the beach in a resort.
A team of seven rescuers from the Tuaran Fire Station, some 12km from the resort, arrived at the site after a distress call was made to the Fire Department at 8.19am on Thursday (Sept 5).
It is unclear whether the adult male could swim, or what could have caused the incident.
