The next iPhone SE could be a big upgrade for those who prefer to have a budget iPhone.
Nikkei Asia reported that Apple has made the switch from LCD to OLED for all of its phones in 2024 and beyond, including the next generation iPhone SE.
The affordable iPhone SE is less advanced than its pricier counterparts, so Apple throwing an OLED display into the SE would make it even more enticing for those who don’t want to spend $1,000 on a phone.

Previous iPhone SE iterations have basically packed newer chipsets and features into the body of an older iPhone, specifically the iPhone 8, for the last couple of models.
Other rumors have suggested the next iPhone SE, which would be the fourth-generation model, will have an enhanced camera system, 8GB RAM, support Face ID, and feature a USB-C charging port.
As a current user of a home button-having, Lightning-port-sporting iPhone SE, that sounds fantastic.
