The much-awaited Hotstar Specials’ Taaza Khabar is back with its season 2. Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions and directed by Himank Gaur, the series stars Bhuvan in the lead along with Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani, and Shilpa Shukla in prominent roles among others. Now with Jaaved Jaaferi joining the cast this season, Rohit Raj opened up about his admiration for the legendary actor.

We’ve all grown up watching Jaaved Jaaferi’s iconic shows like Boogie Woogie, and it turns out that Rohit Raj, the producer of Disney+ Hotstar’s Taaza Khabar Season 2, is no different. Sharing his joy, Rohit Raj said, “I have been watching Boogie Woogie since childhood, and many people might not know this because of my age now, but I used to dance a lot as a child. I really liked dancing, whether it was Jaaved Sir’s Boogie Woogie and or Takeshi’s Castle, or any of the movies he made. I think I have always been a huge fan. The day Sir said yes, it felt like we had achieved something. That was a very special moment for us.”
Speaking about the show, Vasya’s destiny and his vardaan will be challenged by the powerful Yusuf Akhtar, leading to risking his life yet again along with his loved ones.
