Varun Dhawan, who welcomed his first baby girl with wife Natasha Dalal earlier this year, is currently relishing the joys of fatherhood. While the actor has kept details about his daughter under wraps, his niece Anjini Dhawan gave fans a sweet glimpse into what the little one is like. In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Anjini revealed that Varun’s baby girl looks “exactly like her father.”

Anjini Dhawan calls Varun’s daughter ‘A Doll’
During the interview, Anjini was asked about any advice she would offer to her cousin. She responded with affection, saying, “From me, I think she just needs to be her own person. She is so small. She is one month old; what can I tell her? She is a doll, and she looks exactly like Bhaiya (Varun). That’s all I’d say.”
This sweet revelation has delighted fans, who have been eagerly awaiting updates on Varun’s journey into fatherhood.
Varun’s Dream of having a baby girl comes true
Varun had previously expressed his desire to have a daughter. During an episode of Koffee with Karan, while sharing the couch with Alia Bhatt, Varun mentioned in a rapid-fire round that he wanted to have a baby girl. When asked by host Karan Johar about something Shahid Kapoor has that Varun doesn’t, the actor replied, “He has a baby girl, but I want my own.”
Varun Dhawan’s upcoming projects
On the professional front, Varun Dhawan has some exciting projects lined up. He will soon be seen in Citadel alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The series, directed by Raj and DK, is the Indian adaptation of the international hit of the same name, created by the Russo Brothers. He also has Baby John produced by Jawan fame Atlee and directed by Kalees.
Rumours have also been circulating about Varun teaming up with his father, David Dhawan, for a romantic comedy. The project, reportedly titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is expected to be a fun family entertainer. Though the film’s release is anticipated in October 2025, an official announcement is still awaited.
