This clash serves as a battle for fifth place on the NRL ladder, with both teams sitting on 34 points coming into the final rounds of the season.

A win would ensure either side a home final while, depending on Manly’s result tomorrow, the loser could find themselves as low as seventh by the end of the weekend.

Meanwhile, for the Cowboys Jordan McLean has been ruled out with Sam McIntyre promoted to the starting side and Jaxon Purdue joining the bench. Edge forward Kulikefu Finefeuiaki is among Todd Payten’s reserves and could join the 17 if deemed fit enough.

These sides will be fairly familiar with each other, having met back in Round 20 – a game which the Cowboys won by two points.
