HOUSTON (KIAH) — Right now, there is an underdeveloped, disorganized thunderstorm activity in the Gulf. There isn’t an eye just yet as of Monday morning. This is why we need to know where that eye is going to form. Once the thunderstorms start swirling, we’ll get that eye. If eye forms to the west of tropical storm That will bring more coastal impacts for us. If eye forms to the east of tropical storm It’s going to be mainly a Louisiana-Texas impact with stronger impact on Louisiana. As of Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service, the storm will move toward the east of us. Local impacts We’ll be on the clean side of the storm. Some surge along the coast and more tide. We’ll see minimal impacts with a few inches of rain in Houston.
